Strawberry Nutella Tart

This simple strawberry Nutella tart takes less than 10 minutes to prepare! The flavor is absolutely amazing and it is an easy and fun recipe to make with someone else!

1 small clam shell of fresh Driscoll’s Strawberries, cut into slices
1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
1 bunch Bloom Fresh Mint
1 jar of delicious Nutella
1/4 cup of sugar
1 small egg

Preheat oven to 325.

Line a cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper. Roll out the puff pastry right onto the parchment. Trace a one inch boarder with a knife within the entire square, be careful not to cut all the way through. Beat the egg and with a pastry brush paint the outside of the square with it and sprinkle with the sugar. Bake the pastry for 15 minutes. I went a little longer because I wanted a crispier dough to contrast the silky chocolate, but you can remove when golden brown.
When the pastry cools, fill the inside of the square with Nutella and then arrange strawberry pieces over the top. You can cut the mint into ribbons and sprinkle over the top. I served with vanilla ice cream for a movie snack!
