Sauteed Cabbage with Bloom Fresh Red Onions

Serves 4-6


1 Bloom Fresh red onion, diced

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 apples, cored and diced

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 half head purple cabbage, thinly sliced

sliced jalapeno (optional)


  1. Heat oil in pan. Add onions, sauté 2-3 minutes. Add apples, garlic and cook until softened. Cook 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add cabbage, stir to mix, add in vinegar and cover and cook on low until tender. Salt to taste and top with sliced jalapenos (optional)
